Other news is that I did some pretty cool bone drawing today, here are some images from a lovely session with Justine and Chris and Arthur in the art pit :) Samantha joined us later after Arthur left. It was quite the evening!
Cervical
orange and blue prismacolour erase pencils

Thoracic
micron 03 and 01 pens
The Lumbar
I use a highlighter to block in general shape, went back with an ink pen to define, back with highlights to emphasis and use white out to bring out heightened areas and the went back over with orange to blend. I think it's a pretty cool effect, especially when you see it in the sketchbook much more vivid colouring. It was fun to draw :)
I even asked this guy who was sitting across from us in tables, and he had this hmm, voluminous sag hat on his head. Curious as I was it went like this:
As we are packing up I say to him "Sorry to ask, but what is in inside your hat?"
He looks at me and thinks for a moment before replying "A head deformity."
Let me stand still, mortified. He laughs and tells me its a joke and that he has dreds.
Good lord, made me feel so rude xD But it was a funny moment none the less.
On Monday (digital tools class) learned some basic stuff about photoshop: uhm.... I believe what it is showing me is CYMK... not RBG.... lol

Chris's lovely Bob Marley corn cob, which he apparently borrowed the idea from a friend. |
For Storyboarding.....
It was a slow process. I think it turned out like a 3/5. Sometimes, actually, I think I'm a terrible storyteller xD So I hope to pass well enough: "Good Morning!"
Marker Testing....
Just a fun doodle and trying to colour with markers. It's harder to remember all the techniques you learned when you don't practice them at all....
Layout ....
I don't know, it was a confusing class lol, we drew characters and rings to show direction of that part/muscle area. I suppose I got carried away lol.
These were study/inspirations of Justine.
Life Drawing....
doing some hand and feet practice. Must be like Christine, she does 20 hands a day. ASPIREEEEE!
P.S GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE TRYING TO GET THROUGH SHOT BY SHOT FOR NEXT WEEK, it's making my eyes bleed a bit D:
