As an animation kid...

HEYO!

Yesterday was what I'm calling my first day of official classes cause the one hour lecture on Tuesday morning didn't quite do it for me. Either way, I have a pretty chill class. We're a bit quiet some of us and still in our own little groups but I'm sure that will change and we'll be so close it'll be like the tightness of an pleather body suit on someone's ass.

Regardless of that ambition and dream of mine to connect to everyone, it's time to show some stuff!

A couple weeks ago into the summer someone, Allen Yu, drew a caricature of me, and I never got a chance to post it! :) So ta - da!

This went hand in hand when I drew Jordan Ruttle, as a trade off. I couldn't draw Allen because when I went to his page he didn't exactly have a photograph of himself.... so that didn't work, now did it?

Either way I had 2 classes yesterday with Mark Komza for Layout and Enzo Avolio for Character Design.

Pretty fun first two classes, we got to learn about Mark and even have our first piece of homework since we ran out of time talking in-class: Drawing a character in partial environment.

In Enzo's class he got us drawing right away. We started off with drawing a character or person whatever who inspired us to be where we are now. I drew Cloud Strife from FFXII. I spent so much time on that game I don't think I saw the day of light hit my skin til school started. It's such a great game. From it's gameplay to it's super kickass story and amicable characters. Lots of people argue its one of the best stories and games from Square Enix and (its never ending) series for Final Fantasy. I agree, it hit the 90's and its still amassing a huge wave of fans to whoever plays it. But that's my personal opinion. SQUARE ENIX IS MY REASON.

We then practice this circle/grid technique and that was pretty fun, got to use my peg bar on the animation disk.

Finally we had to pick a partner to draw in a cartoon form to be on a kids tv show. Needless to say we have a very mixed show. It was just fun to distort someone else.

The one I did of Christine ( the pink one) and then below is the one she did of me. I made her into the sexy older sister, Jessica Rabbit sorta deal, and she made me into the typical oba-chan xD

Enzo, did one of me. I look either so ASIAN I can't open my eyes, or I'm angry as hell! lol, that's just my drawing face guys. SO INTO IT.
